Ahead of the release of her first album of new music in 17 years, country legend Tanya Tucker has signed with Los Angeles, Calif.- based label. Fantasy Records. Tucker is currently readying the release of While I'm Livin', produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings. The album is slated to release in late summer 2019.
"Tanya Tucker is an original outlaw who bucked the country music establishment and became a living legend in the process - which makes Fantasy her perfect home," Fantasy Records president Margi Cheske said in a statement. "We're thrilled to work with Tanya, Brandi and Shooter and help bring this stunning new album to the world."
In addition to the new album, Tucker is also the subject of a new Carlile-produced documentary Delta Dawn Then and Now: The Return of Tanya Tucker.

"She's the most fascinating person in country music right now, and no one knows it," Carlile told Variety. "The world's going to be like, how did we forget about Tanya Tucker?"
Earlier this year, Tucker launched her own brand of tequila, Cosa Salvaje.
