Tanya Tucker has been forced to postpone a string of tour dates after being hospitalized with pneumonia.
On Oct. 7, Tucker fell ill before her concert in Watertown, S.D. and cancelled the show. After visiting a local clinic the following day, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and airlifted to a Nashville hospital for more treatment.
As a result of her ongoing recovery, the "Delta Dawn" singer has been forced to postpone six dates set for October.
"I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets and were looking forward to seeing us on the road," Tucker says in an official press release. "I just feel terrible, but I'll get even worse if I don't take care of myself. I love you all."
Fans who purchased tickets to these dates should contact their point of purchase for a refund. New dates for the following cities are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
