Releasing a week after Valentine's Day is strangely symbolic, as the song is all about waiting for the right person. Those who'll relate to Tammy's words may feel that they themselves are detached from the holiday of love.
Wanting love, but from the right person.
The "God and A Job" singer found critical acclaim when her debut single went Platinum on Spotify alone. She released her first track around this time last year, and is back with a smoother, more heartfelt single.
You can listen to "Someone To Love Me Right" below. It's also available on streaming platforms.
Tammy Knows What It's Like To Be Waiting For The Right One
Tammy has been waiting for someone to love her right for a while.
Writing to WOC, she said, "We have all endured the wrong ones and some have been lucky enough to always have the right one. This song is for those of us that have searched, still [searching] or have finally found the one to love them right."
"Each of us has our own right way to be loved," she continued. "We need to be true to that and not lower our standards for substitutions that will never fulfill our soul. We all know what it takes to be loved right, may we all find it."
Writing a deeply personal song is always an emotional endeavor, and "Someone To Love Me Right" was no different. "This song brought many tears and much pain but in the end I saw the beauty and hope that I could share with others longing for exactly what I longed for as well," she wrote.
For fans of the song, you're in luck, as Tammy has shared with us that she'll be making a music video. Also, Tammy is gearing up to make 2025 her most explosive yet. Tammy is planning to "release [her] six-song EP and get back in the studio to record more songs for [her] full album to be released in 2025."
How exciting!
We also know that she has a song planned for Father's Day, "written in memory of the man who loved me best."
So if "Someone To Love Me Right" strikes a chord with you, then stay tuned for more releases.

I believe that God has gifted Alan with phrases for songs all of his adult life! This song was no different. What a phenomenal talent he has! He's been blessed in many ways and he acknowledges it frequently! He is the very best of the original 90's Country Music singers that many try to imitate.
