Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley was targeted in a home invasion on Saturday morning,

The incident occurred around 5 AM at Barkley's residence in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township in Chester County.
Tredyffrin Township police responded to a report of a burglary in progress. By the time officers arrived, the suspects had fled the scene. One suspect is believed to have entered the home, though authorities reported that nothing was taken.
Barkley, who helped lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl championship in 2025, was present during the invasion, along with his family. Thankfully, nobody was injured during the early morning break-in.
"We are incredibly grateful that the Barkley family was not injured during this incident. We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5 AM. If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately," the D.A.'s office said.
Investigators are seeking information about a large white SUV that may have been involved in the burglary. Police indicated that more than one vehicle could have been used, and have released images of the vehicle in question.
"We will look at all angles of this. Obviously, it's been all over the news in the past few years about different professional athletes' homes getting burglarized," Capt. Tyler Moyer of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department said.
Multiple NFL Athletes Have Experienced Home Invasions
Saquon Barkley is not the first Philadelphia Eagles star to fall victim to a home invasion.
Famously, former Pro Bowl defensive tackle Fletcher Cox went viral for his 911 call, in which he reported burglars attempting to break into his mansion.
Cox, who spent 12 seasons in Philly, threatened to "blow" an suspected intruder's "brains out" during an alleged home invasion, according to a transcript of his 911 call.
"I got somebody trying to break into my house. I'm about to blow his brains out right now," Cox told 911 operators.
"I am secure, but I have my shotgun. I swear to God, he's busting every window out of my house right now."
Cox was unharmed in the incident, and police subdued the would-be burglar upon arrival.
The suspect, Corbyn Nyemah, was arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief, according to public records.
