Many couples dream of having their own little bundle of joy, but parenthood doesn't always come easy. Sunny Sweeney's new song "Bottle By My Bed" honestly describes the pain that comes with infertility and miscarriage.
The track's simple but heartfelt video shows Sunny living out a normal day, but it's clear that something is missing. Watch it below.
In an interview with People, Sweeney discussed the pain of struggling with infertility and how she and her husband dealt with a miscarriage.
"It took me a couple months to finally digest that I had miscarried," she shared. "That's when my friends started coming out of the woodwork. So many people had been through this. It was comforting to know we were not alone."
By sharing her pain through song, Sweeney has earned acclaim from fans and critics alike. "Bottle By My Bed" also earned a spot on our list of the Best Songs of 2017, So Far.
