'Suits' Star Gabriel Macht Has Left The US To Explore The World

Privacy is important, but when you're famous like Gabriel Macht, you can lose that. Well, it seems he wants to make sure he maintains his privacy, as he won't tell anyone where he's at after leaving the U.S.

He spoke to PEOPLE about his future plans, including those to explore the world. He apparently has wanted to escape the U.S. for a while, and finally took his chance. Of course, exactly when he fled the country with his family is unclear. As well as, naturally where exactly they went.

Talking on this, Macht said, "I don't tell anybody where I live because I like to keep that under wraps."

"I got out of town and we're exploring the world," he added. Living a life of privacy and freedom and exploring the world is most people's dream.

After nine seasons of Suits, the actor wishes to take a "long break" from acting.

He recalled the original plan with his family of four, "Right before COVID, we wanted to take the kids out of school and homeschool them. But then we got stuck and so we were in Manhattan. That just wasn't doing it for us."

"We decided to explore the world, so we left."

Macht Has Spent His Life In America, And Wants A Change Of Pace

Macht shared that he's spent his whole life in the U.S.

"I grew up in L.A. and I lived in New York for many, many years. Half of my life on the East Coast, half of my life on the West Coast," he shared.

So it's only natural for him to want a change of scenery. Despite his desire for a long break from acting and wanting to explore the world, Gabriel Macht will reprise his role as Harvey Spector in the Suits spin-off Suits LA.

"I had very little interest in coming back to work as an actor right now, because I spent so much time [doing it] and this was my time to really raise my kids and to do this creative stuff, like Bear Fight," he said, talking of his new whiskey brand.

He added that reprising the role "made sense" for his family. This will likely be his last role before he really dives into the deep end of exploring lands outside America. Not that we're going to know about it.
