Sturgill Simpson once again teamed up with Stephen Colbert for a very special trip to Waffle House in this hilarious clip.
Just three months ago, Simpson joined Colbert on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform their original song "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Knuckleheads," which describes the etiquette one must stick to when visiting the beloved breakfast eatery. The track was seen as an instant hit by those at Waffle House headquarters, who agreed to put the song into rotation in the jukebox at Colbert's favorite South Carolina location.
To celebrate the occasion, both Colbert and Simpson surprised late night waffle lovers by causing a ruckus inside the restaurant. From piggyback rides to waffle fights, these two troublemakers held nothing back during their Waffle House visit.
Aside from having an insane voice, killer stage presence and impeccable songwriting skills, Simpson is loved for his ability to never take himself too seriously. Even after being called "country music's savior" by some, the Kentucky native still knows how to have a good time - even when it means scaring a few teenagers or stealing a bit of syrup.
