Sturgill Simpson Extends Fall Tour Dates

Sturgill Simpson will be visiting even more U.S. cities this fall in support of his album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music.

Simpson’s Living The Dream Tour, which kicks off early September, has now more than doubled in size, extending through the end of November. The new dates include two back-to-back shows in Nashville, Tenn. where the Kentucky native has called home since 2010. There, Simpson will perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium.

It has been a busy year for the musician whose popularity has reached new heights. Simpson’s independently released sophomore album earned him high critical praise and a major deal with Atlantic Records.

In between his busy touring schedule, Simpson has already begun work on a follow-up album with producer Dave Cobb. Cobb also worked on Simpson’s two previous full-length releases.
