Look I get it, Australia is a hot place. Sometimes, you just need to escape the heat. However that is what public swimming pools, the ocean, and air conditioning is for. I cannot however understand the logic behind trespassing on someone's property and then helping yourself to their swimming pool.

I would be enraged. If I was taking the time to care for, clean, and pay for a swimming pool and some stranger took it upon themselves to refresh themselves in it. According to the home owner, Holly Stevens, the man was not always in the cleanest conditions when using her pool either.

The NY Post shared that oftentimes when he comes for a dip it looks as if he just finished some rigorous exercise. Holly stated, "He's sweaty, has sneakers on, and he's running, and then he's stretching in the pool after a run." Then she elaborates on her feelings regarding the matter — which I am sure match all of ours. "Which is honestly very gross, because it's just like this guy that we don't know."

How Has He Been Getting Away With It?

Holly believes that this man had been scoping out her home for awhile prior to deciding to use her swimming pool. When speaking to 9News she said, " he's obviously scoping out the property" while no one was home. Then once he learned the schedule and the layout, he decided to take a dip. After all, its hard work stalking, casing a place, and trespassing.

Holly argues that the move is very entitled of the man, and I couldn't agree more — not to mention very illegal. Eventually the family installed cameras to catch the trespasser in action. According to Holly, they installed the cameras after the second time they caught him. Since then, he has been captured on camera five times visiting the property and swimming in the pool.

The Post shares that the trespassing incidents have occurred between January 19 and April 25. Authorities are asking anyone with any information on the man to step forward. For now I guess the family has to continue to sit and watch the footage, and just hope that this man no longer decides to use their family swimming pool.
