Steven Tyler's debut country album, We're All Somebody From Somewhere, arrives July 15.
Early last year, the Aerosmith frontman first announced his plans to create a solo country album. According to Tyler, his interest in country music stems from his love of rock 'n' roll. He says, "Country music is the new rock 'n' roll. It's not just about porches, dogs and kicking your boots up. It's a whole lot more. It's about being real."
We're All Somebody From Somewhere features 13 tracks. Two singles have already been released from the album, "Love is your Name" and "Red, White & You." Tyler will release the title track on June 24, just before he begins a 19-city tour that begins in Las Vegas.
Tyler says he plans to give fans a glimpse into the backstory related to the songs, including some of his classic Aerosmith hits. If you are looking to catch Tyler in concert, here are the tour dates:
