The Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame have announced their 2019 inductees. Among the new class is outlaw country legend and folk singer-songwriter Steve Earle and celebrated country songwriter Bob McDill.
The announcement was made during the 2018 Key West Songwriters Festival featuring Jamie Lin Wilson, Keith Gattis, Rob Baird, Liz Rose, Bruce Robison and more.
The induction ceremony will take place at the Hall of Fame Awards Show on Feb. 23, 2019 at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas.

Earle, who grew up in the San Antonio area, rose to prominence with his 1986 debut full length album Guitar Town. He went on to score hits like "Copperhead Road" and "The Devil's Right Hand." He's also written several recorded by other artists, including Connie Smith, Robert Earl Keen and Travis Tritt.
McDill has written hit songs for Don Williams ("Good Ole Boys Like Me"), Waylon Jennings ("Amanda"), Keith Whitley ("Don't Close Your Eyes"), Alan Jackson ("Gone Country") and many more.
Singer-songwriter Christopher Cross and rock legend Billy Gibbons are also among the 2019 inductees.
