Stella Parton is opening up about her experience following the tragic death of her sister, Dolly Parton. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, she explained the Parton family had experienced both a lot of love, and "insensitivity from strangers."
She opened up about her experience in a post on social media on Friday, September 4. She began by thanking people for their support.
"First, let me say thank you to the ones of you who have shown 'genuine' support and love during this time of our family bereavement," Stella Parton said. "We will be okay in time but each of us will grieve in our own personal way. Every human being experiences pain and loss in life and my family is no different."
She went on to address the more negative side that came with all the attention. "Sadly, because of the way our lives have been lived in front of the public," she explained, "we have no choice but to be subjected to incredible pressure and insensitivity from strangers."
She specifically mentioned "a tremendous amount of AI and endless garbage" that has plagued social media every day since Dolly's passing. However, she noted that those "exploiting the loss and tragedies of others will move on to the next stampede of endless misinformation" eventually.

Stella Parton Also Spoke About the Love for Dolly
Stella Parton said that Dolly would "be surprised and delighted" by all of the positive thoughts and prayers shared by people.
"She loved her fans and the public in general," she lamented. "That is the reason she chose not to express her opinions on a lot of things like politics, religion and individuals in the public eye."
"She knew as well as anyone what a negative vortex that could turn into which is nothing but a huge waste of positive energy."
Stella Parton finished her statement by asking people to "show more compassion and wisdom as we move forward in life." She added, "Use my sister's life as an example for tolerance and respect toward others. It's not about the most clever comments, fake AI garbage, or snarky tweets."
"At the end of the day or the end of a life, how will you feel about yourself? It's not about what other individuals you will never meet think of you!"
