Steven Weersing and Tara Fleming met due to the massive tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri in 2011. It killed 158 and injured 1,000. The two of them had their lives rocked by the devastating twister. Weersing was critically injured, leaving him with cracked ribs, a punctured lung, and a flesh-eating fungus on his chest.
He was placed into a coma, and doctors didn't know if he would survive. But Tara Flemming, the missing star of the upcoming Netflix show, stood by him. Throughout his ordeal, she was there, and when he pulled through, they became an item.
They have since split, but they have had two children. Now, just before the premiere of the new Tornado Netflix show, the star has gone missing.
Netflix Star Filed As A Missing Person
Tornado survivor Steven Weersing is now on the hunt for the star of the upcoming Netflix show. She has been registered as a missing person, and her family and friends are searching for information. However, since her disappearance, Weersing says that the people who saw her before her disappearance "are being very suspicious." He also says that her sudden absence, "isn't making any sense."
According to Weersing, he received a call not long ago that he found rather concerning. As per the caller, Tara was in Tulsa. She was alive, but she had her phone, car, and purse stolen. According to Weersing, the Netflix tornado star wasn't missing, but in need of help.
According to her ex-boyfriend, the tornado survivor is in Tusla but in need of help to get home. He only has the phone call to base this information on.
This comes only a few days before the big release of their 90-minute documentary. It looks to tell their story of terror, survival, and eventually love. There will be footage of the disaster and destruction left by the Joplin tornado.
Hopefully, she will be able to make it home so she can relive the shocking story through the new Tornado Netflix documentary.
