6 Ideas for Country Star License Plates Your State’s DMV Needs

Editor's note: This article was originally published in September 2016.

Last year, the state of Tennessee showed off their new Dolly Parton specialty license plate. With Tennessee claimed, we got to wondering: which other classic country stars should have their own specialty license plates?

Below you'll find some mock-ups we made. We started with three for the Lone Star State, because so many of our readers hail from the great state of Texas. Before you say it, we know — there are a bunch of great country singers, like Bob Wills, who should have commemorative plates, too. But really, we don't have all the time or money in the world.

Below the Texas plates, you'll find some mock-ups we did for other states that feature their most famous classic country singers.
