When the thermometer heats up, there's nothing I want more than ice-cold food. Gazpacho, crisp salads and cold sandwiches are all on the list as well as cold leftovers from the night before (cold roast chicken is just so tasty!). But I have to draw the line somewhere, and once I saw this video for frozen spaghetti popsicles, I had reached my limit.

Published by My Recipes, this video shows viewers how to make frozen SpaghettiO ice pops with a can of SpaghettiOs and a popsicle mold. It may sound gross, but there's a chance it was inspired by a real ice cream treat in Japan which was released back in 2014. According to First We Feast, popular Japanese popsicle Gari-Gari Kun, launched Neapolitan Gari-Gari Kun, a pasta-flavored popsicle flavored with tomato sauce and tomato jelly.
The popsicle went on to be a popular treat.
How to Make Spaghetti Popsicles
We are still unsure if this recipe was written as a joke or if someone really loves frozen spaghetti. Either way, here's how to make it:
Open the can of SpaghettiOs. Spray your popsicle mold with cooking oil to prevent it from sticking. Pour the SpaghettiOs into the popsicle mold and add the stick. Freeze until solid.
The reactions from this video are almost as bad as the hot dog water slushie My Recipes posted for April Fools Day.
Spaghettieis: A German Spaghetti Ice Cream Dessert
If eating frozen spaghetti isn't your thing, look to how Germans enjoy Spaghettieis, a fun and creative ice cream sundae that is made completely out of ice cream but looks like a bowl of spaghetti. Vanilla ice cream is pressed through a spaetzle press making the ice cream look like noodles. A strawberry sauce is served on top and it is sprinkled with shaved white chocolate to act as the parmesan. Now that's a frozen spaghetti treat I can get behind.
