Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul Has a Massive Opening Act Lineup

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill announced an impressive 26 opening acts on Tuesday night (Jan. 31) for their 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour.

The cutest couple in country music hopped on Facebook Live to make their big announcement. Hill excitedly revealed they'd have a "different one for every weekend." They didn't stick with country artists, though. They selected all-genre acts to make the Soul2Soul Tour a little extra special. Hill said they were artists the couple had discovered over the last year.

"Not that we discovered," McGraw responded with a smile while Hill laughed. "They've probably been out there for a while but we just discovered them."

This year, McGraw and Hill selected chart-toppers Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Chris Lane, High Valley, Charlie Worsham, Lori McKenna, Maggie Rose, Eric Paslay, Brandy Clark, Cam, Chris Janson, Steve Moakler, LoCash and Margo Price to hit the road with them, but that's not all. They've also recruited crossover and rising artists like needtobreathe, Seth Ennis, The Shadowboxers, Joseph, Midland, Caitlyn Smith, Rachel Platten, Midland, Rhiannon Giddens, Devon Dawson, Natalie Hemby, Ben Rector and Brent Cobb for select Soul2Soul dates. That's a mouthful!

Some of these names might not be immediately familiar to you, but McGraw calls them all "fantastic acts." He also mentions him and his wife have "special connections" to the artists opening for them. This sounds like it's going to be one heck of a tour, no matter which opener you get to see.

While on the live stream, they also added several more cities to the tour route and answered some fan questions. The Soul2Soul Tour kicks off in New Orleans on April 7. The kickoff will be especially sweet for McGraw, who hails from the great state of Louisiana. Together, they'll tour through mid-October and will stop through more than 60 cities!
