The son of a WWE legend has tragically passed away after suffering a "major health crisis", as reported by the New York Post.
Daniel "DJ Pringle" Moody, the son of WWE manager Paul Bearer, who wrestled as on the independent scene, died on Monday, March 23. He was only 39 years old.
A GoFundMe page was first put up in order to support help for Moody's medical costs after the health crisis on November 7. However, it has now shifted to reflect a need for assistance for Moody's funeral costs.
Steve Stasiak, who works for the Book Pro Wrestlers agency, posted a heartfelt eulogy to Moody. "Daniel was the son of Paul Bearer - a man whose voice, presence, and character became part of wrestling history forever. And like so many second-generation names... Daniel carried that connection with him, while also being his own person in the wrestling world," he wrote.
He continued, "For those who met him, worked with him, or simply followed along over the years, this one hits on a different level. There's history there. There's family there. And there's a bond to the business that never really leaves."

The WWE Legend's Son Was Known For Wrestling in the Independent Scene
Whilst his father was known for his legendary management of the Undertaker, Moody himself was known for his wrestling - "DJ Pringle" was also known for once wrestling Robert Gibson, one half of the Rock 'n' Roll Express tag team. The legendary event happened in Irvington, Alabama, as reported by AL.com.
The stage name "DJ Pringle" was inspired by his father. Paul Bearer originally rose up in the business as "Percy Pringle". This was before taking the name "Paul Bearer" as the Undertaker's manager.
Bearer, whose real name was William Moody, tragically passed away in 2013 after a heart attack. He was only 58. Moody and his brother both attended their father's posthumous WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2014.
Moody also leaves behind a daughter, named Danielle, according to the GoFundMe.
This is a tragic loss for the wrestling community. May Moody rest in peace.
