According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox 4, the incident took place on April 18 at around 1:30 a.m. in Fort Worth, Texas. Police received a 911 call, with the anonymous caller claiming that they had received a picture of a bloodied woman in a Snapchat group chat. An address of the man who sent the photo, allegedly Valdez, was provided to law enforcement, being a residence located on Farmers Branch Street.

Upon arrival, Valdez answered the door, having blood all over his body, including his face, as per the affidavit. While carrying a Bible, Valdez reportedly told police, "It was an exorcism." When prompted about the blood in his body, Valzed allegedly replied, "I was doing witchcraft to kill my mom. There is a dead body in there, it's my mom."

Gruesome Discovery

After detaining Valdez, police entered the home. Inside the master bedroom, police found 58-year-old Tersita Sayson's body covered in blood. She was pronounced dead at the scene. As per the affidavit, the body had suffered trauma to her upper body and face. Inside the same room, police found a dead dog too.

After interviewing some of Valdez's friends who were at the scene at the time, they told police they had received a photo from him. The affidavit reveals that one of them actually opened the message, in which he saw the bloodied dead woman and dog. Immediately, he told the others not to open the message. Officers were able to see the photo, confirming what was described by the man.

Alexander Taylor Valdez was arrested and charged with murder. He is currently being held at Tarrant County Jail on a $750,000 bond.

Neighbor Dana Adderley was woken up by her dogs while the incident unfolded. Once outside, she found all her fellow neighbors talking about the photo. At the same time, the block was "full of police officers."

After finding out about the details of what happened, Adderley was in shock.

"You know that when they're saying exorcism, you know they're disturbed. There's something more there," she told Fox 4. "Pray that they'll find peace somehow."
