Specialist Sayveon Anderson, 25, was last seen at the North Carolina military base on June 29.

His command later contacted his mother, Pamela, to tell her that he had failed to report for formation.

He has not been seen since.

Pamela said she last spoke to her son on June 27. He also sent her a direct message on Instagram the following morning.

However, she has received no communication from him since.

"This is not like my son," she said. "My son will call me. He would at least text me or answer my texts."

"My son would go days without talking to me. But never like this. Not this long. I know my son."

Pamela and other relatives later visited Sayveon's apartment in Fayetteville, but no one answered the door.

Police conducted a welfare check inside the property, but found it empty and discovered no sign of the missing soldier.

Family Says They Are "Not Getting Answers"

Sayveon had been living at Fort Bragg following a court-issued no-contact order involving his pregnant wife after a domestic altercation.

The couple married in December and are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in August.

Pamela said her son and his wife later reconciled and that the court dismissed the domestic case.

However, she said Sayveon disappeared two days after his wife asked him for a divorce.

A spokesperson for the 3rd Corps Sustainment Command said it "is working in coordination with local law enforcement agencies and the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to locate Spc. Sayveon Anderson and ensure his safe return."

Reports also state that police arrested Sayveon four days before his disappearance.

He was charged with second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest after allegedly refusing to leave a Comfort Inn when his payment for an additional night declined.

Sayveon's sister, Shicora Anderson, said the family is "not getting answers" about what happened.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 270 pounds.

His family said he has a chipped front tooth, a scar on one arm, and a tattoo bearing the name of his wife, Jasmyne.
