'SNL' Star Under Fire After Admitting to Pantsing 6-Year-Old When She Was a Camp Counselor

Vanity Fair reportedly edited out several portions of a provocative story featuring Saturday Night Live (SNL) star Chloe Fineman in a video it posted last month.

In the story, Fineman confesses that she "was fired as a camp counselor" because she "pantsed a boy."

What Does the "SNL" Star Say in the Video?

The YouTube video, titled SNL Cast Test How Well They Know Each Other?, features Fineman and cast members Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline, and James Austin Johnson. In the clip, they quiz each other about their lives.

The 37-year-old Fineman asked her co-workers if they knew what job she was fired from and then rehired by when she was 16.

Several humorous guesses follow, including one suggesting she was fired from retail for a racially insensitive comment.

Fineman then shared that she had been let go from her camp counselor job.

"[The boy] would lift my shirt all the time," she said. "It was a different time. He would be like, 'Hey, could I have a hug?' And then I'd go to hug him, and he'd lift my shirt, like a d***. And then I was like, 'I'm going to get back at you.'"

She added, "And so we were on a hike, and I was like, 'Hey, Ollie, go look over there. It's a hawk.' He looked, and then I yanked his pants down, and then I was fired."

What Was Edited Out of the Video?

In an earlier version of the video, Fineman revealed that the recipient of the pantsing was only six years old. She added that the child's "ding-a-ling was out."

"He wasn't wearing underpants, and then a giant school bus drove by," added Fineman.

Padilla told Fineman, "Oh, honey, I think you're on a list somewhere."

Some commenters criticized Fineman and Vanity Fair regarding the story.

One user wrote, "Chloe doing her funny voice while she describes exposing a child's genitals was quite upsetting."

Another added, "I'm not sure why in this current climate, Chloe thought that would be a funny story to share or why VF would air it."
