Slow Cooker Pumpkin Oatmeal
Pumpkin season is here! This Slow Cooker Pumpkin Oatmeal makes your entire house smell like Autumn. No need for a candle!
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp pumpkin spice
- pinch salt
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- Using the butter, grease the inside of your slow cooker. To slow cooker add milk, water, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high about 3 hours. Stir in pumpkin and cook for 1 hour more.
- Dish into bowls and top with walnuts.
If you do not have pumpkin spice, add 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg,1/4 tsp cloves and 1/4 tsp ginger. Serve with extra brown sugar if needed.
