Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Using the butter, grease the inside of your slow cooker. To slow cooker add milk, water, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high until oats are done and creamy, about 4 hours.
- Dish into bowls and top with fresh blueberries and walnuts.
Notes
IF you do not have fresh berries on hand, stir in an equal amount of frozen blueberries during the last 25 minutes of cooking.
Serve with extra brown sugar if needed.
