The "All of You" singer, who uses she/they pronouns, shared on Instagram Stories that she had contracted E. coli, and the timing couldn't have been worse.

In the series of posts from Tuesday, Aug. 18, Who, whose real name is Jessica Newham, shared that she was scheduled to perform at The Festival last weekend. The Broadway music event takes place in the Hudson Valley in New York State. But her body had other plans.
"hiii i'm just coming up for air from my big week," she wrote. "i was feeling sick before i left for @thebroadwayfest but i flew on thursday with every intention of toughing it out! when i landed in ny, i knew something was wrong and that i needed a doctor."
The 34-year-old actress said everyone at the festival was amazing. Officials kindly accommodated her and reprogrammed her songs at the last minute. But when the Australian singer came home, she realized she had E. coli.

Who then shared that E. coli made her "the sickest [she'd] ever been."
"I'm finalllly able to keep water down and am drinking broth," she wrote. "I am soooo sad about missing so much of the festival."
She also described her experience in a way that's hard to forget.
She wrote, "i'm sorry to anyone who was lookin around for me thinkin where the heck is this guy!!! i was a mile away throwing up."
In another post, Who shared a picture of herself in bed. She revealed she had been sick for nine days.
"I am so much better than i was when i was in ny but still not quite in fighting shape," she wrote.
But it hasn't been completely hopeless for the Broadway star. In another post, she revealed that she was keeping herself "busy with the cincinnati open." She posted a pic of the tennis tournament on her television set.
We hope Who feels better and is back to full strength soon.
