While responding to a separate incident, a police officer shot and killed a young man, with another later arrested, and one woman hospitalized.

The chaotic night kicked off at Main Event in Centennial Boulevard, Denver. The family fun center is a large venue, with many different activities available. Police had been called to the location in response to a shooting around midnight.
On arrival, deputies found that a man in the parking lot had a weapon. Allegedly, they told him to drop the weapon. However, he refused, according to the report, and a police officer shot 23-year-old Jalin Seabron to death.
Life-saving efforts were made, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. This was not one of the gunmen that the police were called to the Main Event for.
Another Shooting In The Main Event
The original call was made about two women involved in a shooting inside the building. When police arrived, they found that one woman, 23-year-old Nevaeha Crowley-Sanders, had unloaded multiple rounds in the building.
She had hit another woman, who was quickly taken to hospital. Here, she is being taken care of and is expected to survive. Remarkably, the shooting in the busy building had only hit one other person.
The woman responsible for the shooting has been taken into custody. She is being charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. Her identity hasn't been released.
Whether or not there was a connection between the shooting inside and the incident in the parking lot that resulted in the death of the young man is unclear. However, it is being investigated. Sheriff Darren Weekly stated, "That's still under investigation at this point, but we do believe that there was a connection there."
Speaking to the press, the Douglas Country Sherrif went on to say "This situation could have been much worse. Obviously, you have a large entertainment center, like Main Event. Here, you have shots being fired inside. Fortunately, we had a deputy sheriff who was close by, and unfortunately, he had to take a life"
The sheriff responsible for killing the young man is on paid administrative leave, as is the protocol.
