Not even jail can keep Shia LaBeouf from the party.

Yesterday, we reported that the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull actor got into a fight outside of a bar in the French Quarter in New Orleans early Monday morning. Court records show that LaBeouf was arrested and is facing two charges of simple battery.

Ain't No Party Like a Shia LaBeouf Party

According to Page Six, LaBeouf was out of jail yesterday morning. He took off his wristband and told a photographer to "leave me alone, bro."

But the actor didn't walk back to Mardi Gras. He ran! He went about two miles back to the parade route, not before stopping at the VooDoo Mart to pick up a new outfit and sunglasses.

Pictures show LaBeouf taking pictures with fans and drinking beer. The actor has stated that, after years of allegations of erratic behavior and abuse, he has been sober.

Why Did LaBeouf Go to Jail?

Eyewitnesses claim that LaBeouf was escorted out of a bar yesterday. He returned moments later, acting even more aggressively.

"Multiple people attempted to hold him down—he was eventually let up in hopes that he would leave—but he reportedly again struck the same victim with closed fists to the victim's upper body," authorities described in a statement. "LaBeouf then reportedly assaulted another person—punching him in the nose."

In a video obtained by TMZ, someone told the actor that he needed to "cut that s*** out!"

"A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment," the statement read. "Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf, who used his closed fists on the victim several times."

LaBeouf has spoken about his struggles with alcohol. He said it has led to a long history of legal troubles, including instances of disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and abuse allegations.

In 2020, LaBeouf's former partner, musician FKA Twigs, filed a lawsuit alleging sexual battery, assault, and emotional abuse. He admitted he was an alcoholic and had been abusive to himself and others, though he denied many of the instances mentioned in the lawsuit. It was eventually settled.

He reconciled with actress Mia Goth several years ago. However, the couple reportedly broke up last year. He moved to New Orleans afterwards to be closer to family.
