Sharon Osbourne looked crushed and utterly forlorn at her husband's funeral in July. Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76. He and Sharon had been married since 1982 and I had the feeling they were soulmates. When you lose someone like that, there is no way to avoid feeling completely bereft. So I was very happy to read that Sharon has a new hobby that is maybe taking her mind off her grief.

Per Music-News, "...Kelly Osbourne [Sharon and Ozzy's daughter] shared a video [on Instagram] depicting an owl perched on a hat on her head before flying over to sit on a falconry glove worn by her mother. Sharon appeared thrilled as she gently petted the owl."
Kelly seemed very pleased by her mom's reaction. In the caption, she wrote, "Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it! Thank you @gerardsulter for putting a smile on my mum's face too!"
Sharon Has Not Been Publicly Seen Since Ozzy's Emotional Final Farewell in England
That day must have been incredibly grueling for Sharon, who is 72. She was flanked by Kelly and son Jack at the sad event, which was held in Birmingham, England on July 30. Looking desolate and grief-stricken, Sharon seemed sad beyond words.
Animals have a great, almost uncanny ability to help people heal. That apparently is what is happening for both mom and daughter after Ozzy's death. Per the outlet via Instagram, Kelly candidly posted, "In all my sadness and grief, I have found something that truly makes me happy! I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!"
Fans Were Glad for Sharon
Many sounded joyful on Instagram to see Sharon again, doing something she apparently enjoyed. They wrote kind comments about it.
"There she is!!!! We've all missed seeing Sharon. Thank you Kelly"
"So happy to see this! All the positive and healing vibes to you and your family."
"Sending love and strength"
"Your mum looks so natural - like she did it in a past life"
"Absolutely love this! So glad both of you have somewhat of a distraction"
