Country fans are waiting patiently for new music from Shania Twain. But before she makes her big musical comeback, everyone's favorite cross-genre hitmaker is headed to The Voice.
Twain was recruited as a mentor for this season's round of competitors. And her surprise appearance left many contestants completely speechless. As the top 12 artists try and lock down their performances, Shania has plenty of helpful advice to guide them through the final rounds.

Last year, Twain revealed her plans to release a brand new album sometime in 2017. Although the record has reportedly been pushed back to this fall, it's still one of the most anticipated projects of the year. Many also expected Twain to make a surprise appearance at the ACM Awards, but that didn't pan out either.
