Olympian gymnast Simone Biles underwent a life-saving procedure to address the massive health scare she endured earlier this summer.

The seven-time Gold Medalist shared a health update in an Instagram post, in which she is seen wearing scrubs alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens. Biles noted that she got the procedure on Owens' 31st birthday.
"His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure ??????," Biles, 29, wrote in an Instagram Story over a picture of herself smiling next to her NFL husband, whom she wed in April 2023. "I woke up singing bossman dlow 'talk my s--t' ????," she added.

Biles did not reveal what procedure she underwent. The Olympic star has also remained tight-lipped on the life-threatening issue she faced.
Either way, it's good to see the American gymnast smiling and on the road to recovery.
Last month, Biles provided an alarming health update and stated that she almost died.
"I'm not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today's age. But almost dying wasn't on my Bingo card earlier this week. This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices," Biles wrote, referring to her husband Jonathan Owens' practice sessions with the Indianapolis Colts.
"I've been in bed resting this week. I'll explain sooner or later but shout-out to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited and sent flowers. Love y'all."
Regardless of what medical emergency she experienced, it's encouraging to see the American gymnast smiling and on the road to recovery.

Simone Biles has reached unparalleled heights in her sport. She skyrocketed to fame in 2013 when she won the first of her six world all-around titles.
Before reaching age 30, she became the most decorated gymnast in history.
The Texas native has 11 Olympic medals, seven of which are gold. Biles won four of her gold medals (team, all-around, vault and floor) at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
She followed that up with three more gold medal performances at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
