The day has finally arrived. Miranda Lambert's highly-anticipated double album, The Weight of These Wings, is out now, and it's a doozy. Ever since the country star dropped her lead single "Vice" earlier this year, fans have been clamoring to hear more.
To celebrate her release day, Lambert appeared on last night's (Nov. 17) episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Looking as sleek and sophisticated as ever, she burned down the stage with her stellar vocals and cutting lyrics.
The Weight of These Wings is separated into two discs, one entitled "The Nerve" and another titled "The Heart." Each disc features 12 songs, including two tracks that were co-written with Lambert's boyfriend and fellow musician Anderson East. Rising artist and established songwriter Brent Cobb also helped pen the track "Good Ol' Days." Jack Ingram, Ashley Monroe, Lucie Silvas and Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance also earned writing credits on the record.
If you're anxious to hear more of Lambert's new music from the live stage, you won't have to wait long. Next year, she'll head out on her newly-announced 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour with Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers. You can find a full list of dates and more info on the tour here.
