See Kacey Musgraves' Delightfully Retro Music Video for 'High Horse'

In her new video for the disco-country "High Horse," Kacey Musgraves infuses a little 9 to 5 revenge fantasy with '70s style. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video finds Musgraves and her coworkers fending off an annoying and creepy boss and a nosy officemate. Fed up with their antics, Musgraves daydreams about lassoing her office enemies and hitting the town with the rest of the crew. In the surreal and glitzy clip, the friends crash a karaoke bar and disco the night away on a glittery dance floor before Musgraves makes her grand exit on a white horse. In the end, she's pulled out of her fantasy by a coworker who lets her now its time to clock out and wrap up another day of office drudgery.

"High Horse" is a fan-favorite from Musgraves' critically-acclaimed album Golden Hour, released earlier this year. The singer seems especially fond of pairing visuals to the tracks of her most recent album. In May, she released the music video for "Space Cowboy," along with "Butterflies" and "Mother."

Musgraves is currently on tour with pop superstar Harry Styles. The singer has won over a whole new set of fans with her vulnerable lyrics and show stopping cover songs.  Musgraves and Styles have even been sharing the stage, performing their cover of Shania Twain's "You're Still the One." She'll wrap up her run with Styles this weekend at the Forum in Los Angeles.

This fall, the "Follow Your Arrow" singer will kick off her Oh What a World Tour in EuropeShe'll also perform at the 2018 Farm Aid in Hartford, Conn. along with Chris Stapleton, Margo Price, Sturgill Simpson, Particle Kid, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Neil Young, Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson.
