Actor Tom Hiddleston surprised a crowd of partygoers in Nashville when he took the stage to perform a medley of Hank Williams hits.
Hiddleston, who plays the role of Williams in the new biopic I Saw the Light, unexpectedly took the stage during an afterparty following the film's premiere on Oct. 17. In the video above, you'll see Hiddleston runs through a short set of Williams' hits, including "Hey Good Lookin'", "Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used To Do", and "Move It On Over".
Some critics, along with a few of Williams' family members, have criticized the British actor's performance of the beloved country star. Hiddleston's accent was pretty apparent during this surprise set, but it has been many months since the actor wrapped filming on the project. Hopefully, his Southern accent is stronger in the film version, or there may a lot more criticism in store for the actor.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait even longer than expected to see I Saw the Light in theaters. Originally set for release on Nov. 28, the film will now hit theaters on March 25, 2016. Written and directed by Marc Abraham, the biopic also stars Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Williams' wife and singing partner Audrey Sheppard Williams, Bradley Whitford and Cherry Jones.
