However, most people focus solely on making the yummy dip, without paying attention to what you'll be using to eat it. What are Seasoned Crackers?

seasoned crackers

Seasoned crackers are exactly what they sound like- crackers made even better with seasoning. These flavorful homemade delights can be made with any kind of cracker, but they're extra tasty when made with crispy saltine crackers, club crackers or oyster crackers. You can even use pretzels or mini saltines if that's what you have on hand. If you're trying to cut back on sodium, unsalted crackers are a good option.

One reason that seasoned crackers are so amazing is that they can be eaten on their own as a tasty party snack or used to dip into spinach artichoke dip or another delectable dip. They are also super versatile, great with a touch of spice or your favorite seasonings. Some seasoned crackers recipes go the sweet route, with brown sugar, while others use Italian seasonings or ranch dressing mix to make a savory and addicting snack.

This seasoned cracker recipe uses steak seasoning, but many recipes call for ranch seasoning instead. Along with this, many seasoned cracker recipes use paprika, onion powder or parmesan cheese for flavor-packed snacking. You can think of a cracker as a blank canvas, adding whichever flavorings sound the best to you!

Use canola oil, vegetable oil or olive oil to make this yummy recipe, or go for melted butter instead to have buttery seasoned crackers. Seasoned salt like garlic salt is also a great option for extra flavor. These crackers are the perfect snack for game day or to bring to a bbq. You'll wow your friends and family with this easy recipe!

Place your crackers upright in an airtight container. Put your oil and spices into a large bowl, whisking together until fully combined. Drizzle your seasoning over the crackers evenly.

Close and seal your container, and then flip it upside down. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes, then flip the container again. Continue flipping every five minutes, for 30 minutes. Now you're done!

Store your seasoned crackers in an airtight container, where they will stay crispy for up to a week. If you want to make them crispier, spread them onto a baking sheet and cook in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 3 minutes. Enjoy!
