For those of a certain generation, The Sandlot is the perfect movie. The 1993 film about friends who bond over baseball has it all: laughs, action, and a little romance.

More than 30 years later, the cast still reunites for different projects. One of their latest is Dugout Dads. It's an upcoming YouTube series about a little league coach who discovers the players' parents are even more unruly than the kids.
In a recent interview promoting the new show, Patrick Renna, who played the outspoken "Ham" in The Sandlot, and his Dugout Dads co-star Danielle Fishel discussed which Sandlot cast member fans would be surprised to see the most. Their answer surprised even us.
Which Member of "The Sandlot" Cast Would We Be Surprised to See?
As reported by PEOPLE, Renna and Fishel were asked which Sandlot cast member would fans be surprised to see 33 years later.
They replied in unison, "Marty York."
York played Alan "Yeah-Yeah" McClennan, the scrawniest shortstop that ever played the game of baseball. Fans of the film will remember his unique running style, which resembled a "duck." But perhaps his most memorable scene is his attempt to recover a signed Babe Ruth baseball from the massive dog "The Beast."
Fishel shared that York is now a "behemoth." Renna added that fans wouldn't recognize him.
"He was the scrawniest little guy," said Renna. "And now he's just like 200 lbs. of pure muscle — as tall this way as that way."
Is "Dugout Dads" a Sequel?
With so many members of The Sandlot in Dugout Dads, the streaming series sounds like a sequel to the classic film. Renna made it clear that the only thing the two projects share is a cast.
"There's no Sandlot IP," the actor explained. "We're not trying to compete against it because I just didn't want to do that. You know, you screw that up, then everybody hates you for life, so I didn't want to go there."
He added, "When the writers wrote each character, I told them a little bit about each of the guys' actual personalities. So I would say it's a heightened version of themselves, if anything."
