In a 2025 recap on Instagram, Sabrina Carpenter revealed that she accidentally set her bathroom on fire earlier this year. Through a series of stories, Carpenter shared some of the year's highlights. Some of these included her collaboration with Dolly Parton and moments from her Short 'n Sweet tour.

Then, she graced us with a photo of her bathroom sink. Unfortunately, it looks like not only her counter but also a bit of her mirror is totally scorched black. She added a playful caption to the photo: "Set my bathroom on fire by accident," with a heart emoji.
Despite the almost emergency, I'd say it's pretty safe to say that Sabrina Carpenter has had a record year. In August, Carpenter released her latest album, Man's Best Friend, following a series of Grammy wins for Short 'n Sweet. She's also been nominated for several Grammys next year, including Album of the Year for Man's Best Friend.
From the past year alone, it's clear Sabrina Carpenter is just getting started, and she's definitely not slowing down.
Is a 'Man's Best Friend' Tour in Our Future?
Currently, Carpenter has been busy finishing up her Short 'n Sweet tour, which has been running for nearly 14 months. In an interview with Rolling Stone, she explained why she chose to go ahead and release another album, even while she was still touring.
"If I really wanted to, I could have stretched out Short n' Sweet much, much longer," she explained. "But I'm at that point in my life where I'm like, 'Wait a second, there's no rules.' If I'm inspired to write and make something new, I would rather do that. Why would I wait three years just for the sake of waiting?"
It didn't take long for the project to climb to the top of the charts. The record moved 366,000 units in its first week alone.
The question as the new year begins is whether a Man's Best Friend tour is likely in our future. According to Sabrina's tour manager, David Klein, this might be a possibility. In an Instagram post on November 28, Klein shared, "The Short n' Sweet Tour has officially wrapped!" He followed this, saying, "...but also: look out 2026, we're just getting started."
We can't wait to see what this blonde bombshell has planned for 2026, and we know that without a doubt, she'll deliver.
