Rush's is a fast-food restaurant based out of Columbia, South Carolina, so if you're from somewhere else and have never heard of it, don't feel bad. If you're ever in the area, the Rush's menu really is something to behold. Let's check out a few of the offerings available as menu items at the drive-thru and takeout chain.
Rush's Menu: From Burgers to Hot Dogs and More
Rush's has an extensive burger menu, for starters. It has regular burgers, cheeseburgers, a chili burger, a chili cheeseburger, and more. They've even got a few "junior" burgers on the children's menu!
The restaurant also offers sandwiches like hot dogs, hot dog chili, a fried chicken club sandwich, BBQ suppers, a BBQ sandwich, a deluxe chicken sandwich, and several others.
The Rush's menu also has a whole section of chicken supper boxes you can get that come with sides like potato salad, coleslaw, and rolls. The chicken baskets can come with wings, filets, chicken breasts, and more, and the chicken boxes come in 8, 12, 16, or 24 piece options.
Then there are the side orders, because what's good food at a fast-food restaurant without great sides? Sides include french fries, chili cheese fries, apple turnovers, and a "bar-b-que" meat side.
Plus, you can get dessert after you devour all that great food! The dessert menu has soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, a hot fudge cake, a banana split, etcetera. If you like ice cream, their apple turnover sundae looks especially delicious.
Rush's first opened as Carolina Dairies outside of Columbia in the 1940s. The name was later changed, and Rush's currently has 9 locations you can choose from.
They're all located in the Midlands of South Carolina. They're pretty much entirely in the Lexington and Columbia areas, so if you're ever around, why not swing through a Rush's and see exactly what the Rush's menu has to offer?
