Ronnie Dunn Just Dropped New Single, ‘Ain’t No Trucks in Texas’

If you’ve been wishing for new music from Ronnie Dunn, you don’t have to wait any longer.

On Friday, Dunn released his new single, “Ain’t No Trucks in Texas”. The track was produced by Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus and was written by notable songwriters Wendell Mobley, Tony Martin and Neil Thrasher.

“It has been great to be back in the studio and writing new songs,” Dunn said, according to CountryMusicIsLove. “I am really excited for everyone to hear the music. I loved ‘Ain’t No Trucks in Texas’ the minute I heard it and think fans will too.”

The song was premiered during Dunn’s stop on America’s Morning Show with Blair Garner and is available for download on iTunes. It’s unclear if the new release signals an upcoming album from the 62-year-old, or if the single is just a one-off project for the singer. Since he’s been spending more time in the studio in recent months, it wouldn’t be surprising if Dunn had a little more music up his sleeve for fans.

Ronnie Dunn is currently preparing for the start of the Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together In Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Additional tickets will go on sale July 17 for the sold-out set of shows beginning in December. You can find ticket info at the Caesars Palace website.
