Rodeo star Kelsie Domer and her husband Ryan suffered a devastating personal tragedy that no parent ever wants to face. Their 3-year-old daughter, Oaklynn Rae, tragically passed away in a freak accident.

An obituary shared by Harrell Funeral Home and the Lanman Funeral Home confirmed that Oaklynn passed away on February 19. The rodeo star and her partner haven't commented publicly on the tragedy and are seeking privacy during this difficult time.
However, according to
Rodeo Life, the toddler died from a freak accident involving a horse. The animal reportedly fell on top of both the rodeo star and her daughter. Sadly, it caused catastrophic injuries that led to the child's passing.The outlet writes, "The couple lost their 3-year-old daughter Thursday in a freak wreck involving one of their horses, when the animal fell onto Kelsie and Oaklynn. Though life-saving efforts were made, the child did not survive."
Rodeo Star Loses Daughter
Kelsie Domer is a big name in the world of rodeo and is a 10-time Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) world champion. The family plans to have a funeral for their daughter on February 26 in Dublin, Texas.
"Oaklynn packed a lot in her short time with us," the obituary read. "Traveling the rodeo circuit all over the U.S., hitting the practice pen with mom and dad, and loving her family with all her heart."
"She loved frogs, horses, everybody's puppies, going to 'yodeos,' and hanging out with all her friends. She did not know a stranger and lit up the room the minute she made her grand entrance," the post added.
Meanwhile, Simply Equine & K9 paid tribute to the loss of the 3-year-old.
"Our hearts are shattered beyond words," they shared. "Sweet Oaklynn gained her angel wings far too soon. Please continue praying for Kelsie, Ryan, her family, and everyone that loved this precious soul. We don't always understand God's plan... but we hold onto faith that she is being held in His arms."
