But with fame comes the dark side of it. Yungblud has been struggling with criticism that he does not deserve the success he's found. Some haters online have accused the artist of being an industry plant.

The rock star kept his emotions bottled up. But things reached a boiling point with the musician breaking down in tears during a concert. Taking to social media, he addressed the emotions that he's been dealing with.

He wrote, "To be truthful. Recently, I've been really struggling and this moment is a byproduct of my body releasing the wave of emotion that has hit me  in the past year that I've been unable to process. I'm not gonna lie to you when I got off this stage I felt elated but 20 minutes later when I was in the shower on my own I had a breakdown."

The rock star continued, "Being an artist in this day and age is so strange because everything moves so quickly. You never get to sit in what happens for more than a couple hours therefore you fail to navigate or process anything you feel both good or bad at all."

In particular, he said that he's dealt with hate from the internet and from fellow musicians as well.

Yungblud continued, "The amount of hate and disbelief around me from strangers on the Internet or bitter musicians really weighs on my heart as all I've been trying to do for the past 10 years is spread love, build something I believe in and unify people in a safe space."

Fortunately, the rock star got a lot of support from fellow artists after his post.

"Mate.... I feel you. Anyone who can live in this world right now and feel ok is not right in the head. It's a mess.... Empathy drains out of this world like waste. But it's not waste. It will come back. Be kind to yourself ... it's not you. It's this messed up world and all it's injustices xxxx," artist Paloma Faith commented.

"I stood side stage at BTTB and watched you breathe rarified air the way you elevated Changes," Anthrax co-founder Scott Ian wrote. "You've earned it all Dom. Cheers brother."

"Rooting for you," SZA commented.
