A rock legend is pretty angry at President Donald Trump and his administration. Iron Maiden legend Nicko McBrain rejected an opportunity to play golf with the president.

Instead, he went on a public rant about the president after a Republican friend offered to arrange a golf outing with Trump.
McBrain had absolutely no interest in accepting. According to Blabbermouth, the musician responded with disbelief before firmly declining. "No. No, mate," he recalled telling his friend.
The non-political rock legend became political.
He criticized what he perceived as the president's narcissism while also expressing concerns about the controversy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein-related documents and the administration's military actions against Iran. McBrain also singled out Pete Hegseth, the U.S. secretary of war, suggesting that he could eventually face imprisonment.
"I'm not politically inclined, although I must be because I have my thoughts about him," McBrain added. "I'm not amused by the narcissism, and all this kerfuffle about the Epstein files and whatnot, and especially the debauched war that he's put on Iran."
"And this Pete Hegseth business — oh, he's going to be put in prison," the rock legend also said. "My last word on Trump and his bunch of cronies is, they should be put in jail."

The outspoken remarks come as McBrain promotes his autobiography, Hello Boys And Girls!, which is scheduled for release Thursday, Oct. 22.
The memoir chronicles his childhood in London, his rise through the music industry and his decades performing with one of heavy metal's most successful bands. McBrain joined Iron Maiden in 1982, replacing drummer Clive Burr before the recording of the group's 1983 album, Piece of Mind.
He remained behind the drum kit for more than four decades, contributing to numerous albums and international tours. However, he retired from touring in December 2024 following significant health challenges, including a stroke in January 2023 that initially left him partially paralyzed.
His final concert with the band took place Dec. 7, 2024, in São Paulo, Brazil.
"It's been a real honor to write my very own autobiography and have the chance to walk down memory lane, revisiting all the experiences that have made me who I am and brought me to where I am today. And I'm thrilled and delighted to be taking those stories on the road and share them all with you. I feel truly blessed to be able to say 'Hello Boys And Girls!' to you all in person later this year. We're going to have a lot of fun together, so come and join me for a great night out. I've got a LOT of stories I want to tell you all!" he said of the book.
