Commenters Posted Messages of Support About Parkinson's
People on social media were quick to offer messages of support and even admiration.
Commenters admired how East Bay Ray was going to "tour for as long as his health allows". They wrote, "Till the wheels fall off! Hell of a dude." Another wrote, "Sending positive thoughts, Ray will continue til he can't, legend."
Another commenter shared their personal experience with Parkinson's. "My dad has parkinsons hes had it for almost 18yrs... its a tough disease.. stay strong. And no matter what keep moving ."
This comes after East Bay Ray recently posted a series of cryptic quotes on his social media. These include:
- One mistake you should never make in this life is to allow yourself to be recruited, by someone, to hate another person who hasn't wronged you. Only a fool inherits other people's enemies as a sign of loyalty.
- If someone treats you bad, just remember that there is something wrong with them, not you. Normal people don't go around destroying other people.
- Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding .The highest form of knowledge... is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding.
- Thinking is difficult, that's why most people judge (Carl Jung).
We hope that he is able to manage living with this disease.
