Riley Green Wants a "Camouflage Baby" But Says Fatherhood Will Have to Wait

Riley Green is one of the most successful artists on the current country music scene. He's a hitmaker. More recently, he's shown he's got some good acting chops, too. Oh, and who can forget that he's also a coach on this year's The Voice, which has also been a hit due to his friendly rivalry with Adam Levine.

Despite Green's success, he continues to face questions regarding his plans for the future. Most notably, whether he intends to settle down and become a father.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM's 'The Highway,' Green answered questions about his plans for fatherhood head-on.

"You know, I'd have a little camouflage baby running around somewhere," Green said. "I'm excited about that. I mean, yeah, I imagine I'd have to take him or her hunting with me. I'm an uncle several times, so I get to see, you know, how much fun that is. I can only imagine when my life slows down a little bit to that point, that'll be a completely different journey."

Green is clearly thinking about what parenthood will be like. However, given his busy schedule and the amount of success he's currently experiencing, it's unlikely that he's going to be slowing down anytime soon.

Riley Green Is Seeking More Acting Opportunities

When speaking with 'Talk Shop Live' back in August, Green admitted that he's seeking out some additional acting opportunities.

"I really enjoyed the process of trying to get into character and figure out what would this person be doing and how would they do it," Green said. "It was a real challenge at a point in my career when I feel like I needed one. I wanted something that was different and wanted to learn new."

If those acting opportunities do arise, Green's foray into parenthood will likely move even further into the distant future. Right now, he appears to be completely focused on his career and achieving whatever goals he's set for himself. Of course, he could always choose to pursue both at the same time.

Yet, judging by his recent comments, that hybrid approach doesn't seem to be on the cards, at least right now.
