Riley Green Gets Steamy in Latest Episode of 'Marshals'

Riley Green is getting a real workout during his guest-starring stint on Marshals. Beginning on April 19, he has a multi-episode role on the popular Yellowstone spinoff as Garrett, an ex Navy SEAL chum of Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes). Garrett shows up unannounced in Montana, where Kayce is now a U.S. Marshal. He is still at loose ends after his traumatic military experiences and is seeking some peace and resolution.

Meanwhile, the part gives Riley Green, 37, a marvelous showcase. He acts, sings, and even kisses a woman! His fans must be swooning with joy. What is even better is that the handsome country crooner carries it all off beautifully. His video duet with Ella Langley, "You Look Like You Love Me," hinted at Green's budding acting chops. On TV, he's proving them.

The Scene in 'Marshals' Where Green Shares a Smooch

Per People, in the episode that aired on Sunday, May 3, Kayce saunters into his kitchen to find his colleague Andrea (Ash Santos) bustling about making coffee. He was evidently unaware that she was there. She then offers him a cup. Garrett, bare-chested, comes in the room next. He tells Kayce almost with a wink, ""I'll tell you what, coyote. If we had teammates like Andrea in the Navy, I'd still be a SEAL."

Kayce teasingly says to Andrea, "Being held captive by the Cleggs wasn't torture enough?" She retorts, "Who knew? I can't resist the power of a country ballad." (Garrett finds relief in music, so he sang "My Way" sitting with Kayce and his buddies around a campfire in the previous episode.)

Kayce says he will head out to "prep the lower pastures today." Andrea locks lips with Garrett. She tells Kayce how much she appreciates his help is freeing her from her abductors.

Green's Appearance on the Show Came About via Luke Grimes

The "There Was This Girl" singer told People previously that Luke Grimes helped get him on Marshals. Green observed, "It happened really organically. It was through Luke Grimes, who's become a real good buddy of mine. He's starting his music career and was starting to come to Nashville and doing some co-writing and stuff. I was trying to help him out in that world a little bit with some people that I knew."

In fact, Green added, "He was like, 'Man, you should try acting, you know? I think you'd be good at it.' I was already kind of putting thought into that." Chances are that Riley Green will be putting more thought into acting after his role in Marshals concludes.
