Country singer Riley Green seems to have the world by the tail. He recently dropped a new LP, That's Just Me. His guest stint on the Yellowstone spinoff Marshals was praised and elevated his stature as someone with acting chops. And Green is also a coach on The Voice. However, there is one thing missing from his busy life - a special lady. Buzz has linked him with country singers like Ella Langley and Megan Moroney, but it's just reportedly that - buzz, not reality. Riley Green recently opened up to People about getting romantic and what stands in the way of him settling down with someone.

Green Recalled How His Earnest Attempt at Being Romantic Once Fizzled
The "Worst Way" singer is so charming and classy that you would think that any woman whom he dates would swoon automatically. But he spoke about one try he made at being romantic that fell kind of flat. I can almost picture Green rushing around, doing his best to make everything prefect, but falling a tad short.
He shared with the outlet, "I remember around one Valentine's Day, I bought one of those real old army-looking tents, the white canvas tents, and there's this real pretty spot at my farm up above the lake. And I set it up and had little string lights in there and had a whole little campfire, but I had to do it while the girl was there. So I was constantly like, 'Let me go check on the animals,' and I'd run up there and put one pole up. And so it was a little surprise thing. I thought that was pretty romantic. I don't know how she felt about it."
Green said honestly, "Well, it didn't go that well. I mean, here we are."
His Packed Schedule Would Be Tough on a Relationship
Riley Green is realistic about how hard it would be to maintain a successful relationship, given his many professional commitments. He admitted, "...I haven't seen Carl, my dog, in a month. I struggle to think there's a girl that's... I can barely make this lifestyle work!"
Green added, "I think that's probably a battle for anybody that's in a demanding position ... just a career where you're on the road 200-plus days a year. I was busy before I started filming The Voice. Now I'm in L.A. every day. So my lifestyle has just got to change a little bit."
