According to

a statement by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested Dylan Lamb, 33, on Tuesday for the murder of Nadyne Marie Tillman, 43, of Key Largo. Her body was found in a hotel room in the resort. Authorities say that Tillman's family reported her missing as they had not been in contact since Saturday, which was unusual.

During an investigation, the Sheriff's Office learned that Tillman and Lamb met at the Amoray Dive Resort on Saturday. Officers searched Lamb's room and found Tillman's body in the closet with 'injuries consistent with being beaten.'

Police tracked down Lamb in Key Largo and arrested him. Per a report by NBC Miami, Authorities accuse Lamb of beating Tillman to death and hiding her body on the property. He is charged with homicide, kidnapping, and destroying evidence.

Resort Staff Allegedly Threw Away Bloodied Sheets Without Notifying Police

According to a report by the Miami Herald, cleaning staff found soiled and bloody sheets in waste bags after Lamb checked out from the resort. However, they threw them away without notifying authorities. Deputies reportedly found Tillman's body stuffed into a crawl space in the air conditioning closet. The outlet also explained that guests stayed in the room on Monday and were "none the wiser about the body."

Staff at the resort reportedly told police that Lamb refused to leave the room when asked to. The resort allegedly requested a room swap to make room for newer guests. Lamb reportedly worked at an outdoor outfitters and kayak shop, which is where authorities found and detained him.

Sheriff Rick Ramsay praised officers working the case in the press release "I want to thank the men and women of the Sheriff's Office for working around the clock to make an arrest in this case. While the investigation remains ongoing, there do not appear to be any other individuals involved in this incident," he said.
