So, when Marissa received the results of her latest IVF treatment, she continued to share the details online. Posting on Threads, Marissa shared the results from her first two hCG blood tests.
"Beta 1: 160.3. Beta 2: 265.8," Marissa wrote. "Not the numbers we were hoping for to feel reassured (docs wanted it to double, only increase of 66%), but we're still in viable numbers. Beta 3 is tomorrow."
Marissa then went quiet on social media for a few days. Yet, five days after her post about the hCG tests, she shared some symptoms that she noted came from pregnancy.
"Who was going to tell me about the vivid dreaming and heavy night sweats in early pregnancy?!" she wrote.
That's an exciting update, isn't it? Marissa's journey in trying to conceive has been fraught with challenges. She's built up a supportive community online, one that will undoubtedly celebrate if she's finally fortunate enough to be pregnant and go to term.
Marissa Blackstock Previously Explained Her Current IVF Journey
Millions of couples around the world turn to IVF in the hope of starting a family. It can be a lonely journey. So, Marissa's decision to share hers online has likely helped others going through similar issues. On January 21, 2026, Marissa provided an update on her IVF treatment, noting how she was getting ready for her second round.
"Thank you all for your love and support during our IVF journey. It has been four years in the making, although our last one didn't really stick long-term," Marissa said. "The good news was we did get a positive at one point for several days, and unfortunately, it seems like a chemical pregnancy to where just he didn't last, and that's okay. We're on to our second one, so we're pretty excited going into this."
Marissa then detailed how important her fans and the community she's built have been for her throughout her journey.
"I wish I could respond to each and every one of you," she continued. "However, I hope I would just take up a lot of time. So this is kind of a blanket statement for it. Unfortunately, if this little one doesn't stick, we only have one more embryo to work with at this point before we have to go through another round of egg retrieval. Anyway, all that to say thank you again so, so much for your love and support."
Hopefully, Marissa's recent posts are a sign that things are working out for her and Shelby. And, if that's the case, Reba McEntire will be adding another loved one to her close circle.
