Reba McEntire made headlines when she and her longtime husband and manager Narvel Blackstock suddenly divorced. Now, the country superstar is revealing what helped her through those difficult times.
"Without [faith], I don't know what I would have done." McEntire told Fox News in a recent interview. "I guess I would have been a puddle on the floor. You've got to have somebody to talk to. And God is my therapist and best friend. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and strength."
Outside of her divorce, Reba says her faith is "the most important thing" in her life. "I don't know how I would get through the day or even a moment without a relationship with God," she explains." That is the first thing I do in the morning is thank Him for a good night sleep and I say good morning and I'm thrilled He is going to guide me through the day."
McEntire has plenty to be thankful for right now. She just launched an accessories line with Cracker Barrel that's selling out in stores nationwide. On Sept. 2, she'll also release a brand new acoustic Christmas album exclusively through the restaurant chain. In December, she'll return to Las Vegas to finish out her ongoing residency with Brooks and Dunn at Caesars' Palace to round out a very eventful year.
