Reba McEntire is finally getting around to planning her wedding with fiancé, Rex Linn, and it sounds more like a zoo than a ceremony.

But it sounds like the "Fancy" singer's ceremony will be anything but. In an interview with Extra, McEntire shared that the couple's pets will be part of the "low-key" proceedings, including her "granddogs."

Sounds Like Reba McEntire Is Having Her Wedding on a Farm

As we reported last year, McEntire and Linn, who are co-stars on the NBC sitcom Happy's Place, haven't even set a date for their wedding yet.

However, it does sound like the couple is making some progress. It sounds like the ceremony will take place at the couple's Tennessee ranch.

"We're going to have to have dogs there. I have two granddogs, Watson and Belle, so they may be the ring bearers or something like that, but we have to have our animals in there," shared McEntire. "We've got longhorns and donkeys, horses and everything there at the place, cats. We have a lot of fun with them."

Watson and Belle are the dogs owned by McEntire's son, Shelby Blackstock, and his wife, Marissa.

But When Is Reba Getting Married?

When it comes to setting a date, McEntire and Linn don't seem to be in a rush to get hitched anytime soon

"I asked him, 'Well, when do you want to do this?' He said, 'Let's have fun with the engagement time," said McEntire. "So we haven't set a date or anything. We're just enjoying each other."

The other reason why plans keep getting put on hold is that for Linn, work always comes first.

"Heck, we might be engaged 30 years before we get married, but we're okay with that, too," she said.

It seems like there's always something delaying the couple's plans. For example, McEntire and Linn were actually engaged in December of 2024. However, they did not immediately go public with the news out of sensitivity to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, stating "it wasn't appropriate." But McEntire remains patient.

"I've never been loved by a man like Rex Linn," shared McEntire. "Rex is a very tender-hearted man, and I just love him with all my heart. He's a good guy. Real bashful though."
