On Tuesday, Reba McEntire teased her social media followers on Instagram and Facebook with a slideshow of three photos - one of her headphones, another of a soundboard, and the last of her in front of the mic. "Back at it in the studio," McEntire confirms in the caption.
In early 2017, McEntire released her heartfelt gospel record Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope, which earned her a Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album and hit No. 1 on the US Country charts. Whatever McEntire is currently working on in the studio could be part of an eagerly anticipated 30th studio album following her big 2017 hit.
The same night that McEntire hinted at new music, she surprised Dustin Lynch at his Grand Ole Opry induction night. Lynch was brought to tears along with McEntire who said that 41 years ago the night prior she sang on the Opry stage for the first time.

McEntire has come a long way since her Opry debut, and now she humbly finds herself with limitless projects and awards. This year, she'll receive the Kennedy Center Honors and the inaugural Career Maker Award at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala. Both awards recognize her vast contributions to country music throughout her life, starting off as a rodeo singer and eventually becoming a household name.
In addition to receiving well-deserved kudos, McEntire also has major performances lined-up for the rest of the year that she'll have to work around when planning her studio time. She'll host and sing at the "CMA Country Christmas" show and in October and December she'll join her pals Brooks & Dunn at the Ceasars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas for a series of shows called Together in Vegas.
And if we're lucky, Reba will find time in her busy schedule to share a new song before the year ends.
