What Happened to Tyler Duckworth?
As reported by PennLive, the 44-year-old Duckworth was found dead in his North Dakota apartment on Aug. 11.
Police in Grand Forks discovered his body after responding to complaints from downstairs neighbors about water leaking through their ceiling. Officers found Duckworth unresponsive in the overflowing bathtub at around 11:45 a.m.
There were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances reported. However, an official cause of death has yet to be reported as officials wait for autopsy and toxicology results.
After Duckworth won The Challenge: Rivals with Devenanzio in 2011, he went on to have a successful career as a world history teacher. His mother also released a statement on Friday regarding the death of her son.
"My Ty-Guy would skip to school when he was little. He has now gone on to a better place where the hurts and challenges (pun intended) are no longer," she said. "Tyler found his passion in teaching, and he was good at it. I understand his students loved him."
