Raquell Brown, the wife of Alaskan Bush People star Gabe Brown, has accused her husband of abuse. According to an affidavit, which was filed on Sept. 22 and since obtained by PEOPLE, Raquell has alleged that she felt "forced" into her marriage with Brown. The document also claims that Raquell has been the subject of abuse throughout their relationship.

"During the first four months of our relationship, I experienced emotional and mental abuse from Gabe and his sister. Fights were started on purpose and breakups were threatened during this time," Raquell claims in the affidavit.
Raquell also alleges that she and her two children moved to Washington in 2018. The decision was reportedly based on Gabe wanting to be closer to his family. However, the move allegedly left the family living in a trailer "with no electricity or water."
Family conflicts were also mentioned in the document, with Raquell recalling a specific incident between Gabe and his sister, Rain. She recalls that incident being "a very traumatic fight." Gabe allegedly threatened to end things with Raquell if she didn't respond to Rain.
"After this experience, the verbal, mental, and emotional abuse began to rise," she alleged. "...There have been many occasions while pregnant that Gabe would yell at me, follow me to the bathroom while I locked the doors to escape him, even locking my children in their bedroom and preventing me from entering to calm them down. He would also yell at the children, hit them and intimidate them to get them to cooperate for him."
Things With Gabe Brown Allegedly Got Worse in 2022
Raquell also claimed that her situation with Gabe escalated after Alaskan Bush People went on hiatus in 2022. It was at that point that she believes Gabe "began growing distant and short."
"He started yelling at me and the kids louder. He would hit them and yell in their faces. He's even done this in front of my mother and some of our friends," she said.
According to PEOPLE, Raquell then filed for a restraining order in April 2023; however, the application was dismissed.
The couple got back together in 2024. Raquell alleges the abuse then continued.
"During times of arguments in the house, Gabe would do a roll call for everyone in the house to line up as if we were in the military. We couldn't speak unless spoken to; we couldn't leave until he dismissed us," she claims.
Raquell has since filed for divorce. According to PEOPLE, Raquell claims their three children are currently with Gabe. "I worry for my children's safety and well-being every day," Raquell says.
Currently, there are no further details regarding Raquell's claims against Gabe.
